Brisbane: Settling Down

Hello World! Finally have the time and wifi to document my first few weeks of stay here in Brisbane. Had wifi for about a week plus, but just couldn't find the time to blog all because Uni is taking up much of my time. I'm so drained every day. 

Let's get started and end this quick, got to revise for my tomorrow's lab quiz (weekly quiz/assessment). Talking about labs, they are so lax here, no need for long pants (what logic, someone please enlighten me). As long as you have safety glasses, covered shoes and lab coat, you can enter the lab. *WoW angmohs, your logic, claps*

First Saturday in Brisbane: Freshers Market! This bird is everywhere, like a pest (my housemate says so). It's even in my school and in the city.

We can haz some prata if we ever crave for one. Really nice to see asian stalls at the market. You know, ASIAN FOOD > WESTERN FOOD any day, any time. Home's still the best! Everything here is kind of expensive, unless we look real hard to find good deals. Aunty-ness in me has unleashed. My favourite shop in city is Reject Shop (it doesn't sell rejected stuff okay, they are pretty decent), it's like our Dollar Value Shop back in SG.

Mangoes! Ohhh! Here in Brisbane, when you buy fruits from fresh markets or Gourmet Fresh, you get to taste them before buying! Being a Singaporean, must walk one round and taste all (to fill part of my hungry stomach at times).

Here's my room. It has since changed a little.

It's not this empty now. The space where you see things on the floor, my water bottle, is now occupied by my vanity shelf. My skincare stuff used to take up quite a bit of space in the wardrobe when the shelf wasn't bought yet.
