TOP 10 BEAUTY ITEMS 2015

December 31, 2015

Hello again!
It's the last day of 2015 and I thought it'd be good to share my TOP 10 beauty items that I truly enjoyed using and wish that you would give them a try too! This post is my personal opinion of the products, they may or may not work for you (but I really hope they do).

#10 - Sephora It Palette #DelicateNude

The colors are suitable for every occasion. I could use it for daily eye makeup, which usually is a light champagne shimmer shadow. Else, I usually use the bolder colors for events that I'm attending and to match my outfit. It's really handy since it comes with a 2-end brush and also a dark brown liner.

#9 - Roses de Chloe Eau de Toilette

I prefer this to the classic Chloe eau de parfum since it doesn't linger as long. It's a very light scent of roses. This is most suitable for everyday use, it smells the most casual out of the Chloe range I have. I use Chloe eau de parfum and Love Story when I have an important event. I got my Chloe fragrance in the travel set so it's pretty useful if I'm travelling and definitely worth the bucks since you get to try 4 fragrances for less than the price of one.

#8 - Innisfree Lip Tint Balm #01 Azaleas
I have heard mixed reviews about this lip tint balm. Personally, I like it. This shade suit me well. Though I must admit re-application throughout the day is needed and be quite troublesome. This is an 'SOS' product if ever my lip tint (which I may apply before I head out) comes off after eating. This saves the day. It can be a little drying since it's still a tint product, so do use it after a normal lip balm application to protect your lips!

#7 - Innisfree Skinny Waterproof Microcara

Favourite mascara! Love how fine and tiny the brush tip is, you get to every strand of your eyelash. It gives a clean finish and I hardly mess up with this little helper! Just curl your lashes and apply this, simple isn't it? But I find that it lengthens a little more than volumising, which works fine for me as I am a lucky one with not-so-sparse lashes.

#6 - Nivea Serum Deo

I feel relieved whenever I put these on before I head out. Singapore's weather is really so humid... and sweaty pits ain't cool, especially if it shows on your clothes big NO! They work well for me so far, no irritations, pits feel moisturised too.

#5 - SoftLips Lipbalm Cube in Pomegranate & Blueberry

My fuss-free, go-to lipbalm when I'm out, screw cap lipbalm, I am all for that when I'm out. No more messes in your pouch. Softlips Ice Cube Lipbalm also leaves a minty feel. & it's even better when lipbalms are tasty. Subconsciously licking it every time I have it on.

#4 - Biore Cleansing Oil

Oil cleansers are the best bet for thorough make-up removal, aren't they? This works wonders! Takes down my Innisfree mascara and all other makeup on my face very cleanly. This is my 1st-step cleansing if I have make-up on, followed by my usual cleanser because I like to double-cleanse. Smells heavenly too, like a basket of fresh granny smiths.

#3 - CLIO Pro Single Face #005 Neutral

If you ever want to try a new blush, this is the one! I got it quite hastily, not expecting a lot, but it turned out well! A matte coral blush that's very natural! It's now a staple that I need to have. I strongly recommend this to beginners since it's very subtle but build-able. Only problem with it is that it's a flip-design, which may be destroyed in the pouch, I recommend that you keep the box it comes in.

#2 - It's Skin VC Effector

Finally gotten myself a vitamin C serum. Instantly waking up my skin. The scent of citrus will never go wrong. Not sure if it does brighten/whiten, but I love the watery texture!

#1 - NOV III Face Lotion R

THE ONE - The life-changing toner of mine. It's so good! Calling all dry-skin friends, this is the toner you have to try (though it's quite painful on the wallet). Trust me, just get this out of the entire range. I don't think I can ever live without it from now on.
