Monthly Favourites: December 2014

It's finally the last day of 2014. The day almost everybody is looking forth to, ain't it? Believe some of us find 2014 a //bad year, but for me, it was a year filled with experiences! Let me share the favourites of this month!


Philips Compact Care (1100W) Hair Dryer -  I only started using it because one fine night when I was about to blow dry my hair, I dropped my previous Philips hairdryer (which has served my family, mostly me for many years). So that's the story on why I started using it. It's less powerful than my previous hairdryer, so my hair takes a longer to dry, but that's okay. The Philips Compact Care is as demure as it looks, it doesn't produce much sound as well (while on Cool and warm mode), has 3 modes: Cool Air, Warm and Warmer/Hot. I use Warm and Cool Air mode most of the time because the Strongest mode made the hairdryer sounds scary. So uh-uh, not going to use it. This is the hair dryer that I will bring over to Brisbane as well, love its shade of Peach.
Pond's Age Miracle Face & Neck Lifting Day Cream (SPF 30 PA +++) - I know you must be wondering where that holygrail sunscreen of mine went to... Fret not, I still enjoy using Bioessence's Moisturising Cream. I only switched it up because I got lazy, usually before Bioessence's sunscreen, I would put on a thin layer of moisturiser, but I got way too lazy that I decided that I wanted to forgo that moisturiser step, so I used a lifting day cream with SPF.
Soule's Smile Black Slippers and Soule Shades (UV 400 Protection) - Favourite purchase this month! Singapore started up social enterprise from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Slippers and Shades for a good cause. Every purchase you make will in turn help those in poverty or recovering from natural disasters! Bringing this set over to Brisbane to meet the beaches and coasts. UV 400 to help block off UVA and UVB rays!
Belif's First Aid Overnight Brightening Mask - Though it's just a sample pack, it has make me trust the brand. I was expecting it to be sticky and stuff because it states "overnight" and overnight mask packs tend to be more thick and sticky. But this is sooooo Good! It absorbs relatively quickly, leaving almost no trace. I even used it as a moisturiser in the day.
Vitas Scalp Shampoo and Scalp Conditioner - Shampoo smells like cough syrup, but man it works, head feels cool and clean after every wash! & I really love the conditioner, SCALP CONDITIONER. Yes, a Conditioner you can use it on a scalp without fearing snowfall (dandruffs). I'm really going to bring a bottle of this to Brisbane! It's like 2 in 1, you can condition your scalp and your hair. Rushing to type this post out as I am going to watch SBS Drama Awards 2014 Live. For the past few years,I have been "counting down" watching Korean Drama Awards Ceremonies. That's all, See you peeps next year, I mean tomorrow since it's 2015!
