The First Step Out

November 9, 2014

It's NOVEMBER! I have started working again after my 1 week break. I am currently helping out at a pharmacy in a public hospital. I think I am enjoying my work, though I don't have much time to do things I love. But it's okay, it's temporary and maybe once I settled in more, I should be able to get round the routine. So for now, I am usually very behind time catching up with any form of news, dramas and music.

My daily Monday to Friday routine is Wake Up -> Work -> Get Home. & When I'm home, I can only watch dramas that are of 30 minutes long per episode or max, 1 hour, that's if I want to ensure I have enough sleep to start the next day. I try to sleep by 11PM, and I am very thankful my new job doesn't start that early. So I get about 7hrs of sleep everyday. It's already a luxury. I wake up not being grumpy and moody, so I get to enjoy my work more (though there are also some teeny bit of annoyance at work, there's always that someone who annoys you no matter where you work). But I shan't be bothered.

Week went by quite fast (which is a good thing). Made new friends at work, and we are all in this together so it's great to help one another during work.

Went to get my Visa Medical Check Up yesterday at Paragon, and holy I must be the only few souls in Orchard at 9AM. My checkup went pretty smoothly and quickly. I think I was done by 10AM. Very excited when I was about to be weighed. #GIRLS But oh wells, it's a good gauge to double confirm my weight that I usually take with my bathroom scale. 43.4kg (with bread, water eaten and wearing a tank top and jeans).

Glad I am maintaining my weight. In case you didn't know, I used to weigh about 45-46kg it fluctuates a lot. Back in June I planned out how I wanted to lose weight. It took me about 20 days to lose 1.5-2kg. How do you actually know if you lost weight? Is to keep monitoring your weight for weeks after you notice a drop in weight. If it constantly drops by a little (not drastically) intentionally, it is a weight loss. and usually 1.5-2kg drop is a good gauge and 1kg could just be water mass.

Always remember weight management is all about:

INPUT vs. OUTPUT

Input: what you put into your mouth
Output: Energy expended. (and also how much shit toxin you clear out, regular bowel movement is a good way to get rid of unnecessary shit weight, approx. 200-500g depending on how many days you didn't shit la, hahas).
