Previously, I mentioned that I prioritise Skincare instead of Makeup. I think having NATURALLY good skin is better than putting on a fake 'good skin' face. So I'll be sharing some of the skincare (and a little make-up) stuff I use. I have relatively average, or slightly better than average skin I guess since I don't pile on make up as much and as often as most girls my age. I sleep quite early, so I don't have eye bags/dark eye circles. Only problem are abrupt pimples once in a while.
First up, SKINCARE!
L-R:
1. Etude House I'm Blooming Brightening Wash-off Gel (~ $15++)
Really like this wash-off gel scrub. Always make my skin feel so clean. I use this once every 2-3 days to exfoliate my face.
2. Clean & Clear Oil Control Toner (~$5.00)
Bought a toner just for the sake of owning and using a toner. But I find this too harsh. Going to switch to another brand soon.
3. Sunplay SPF 50+ PA+++ Clear Water Sunscreen (~$20)
So much <3 for this! NON GREASY & NON WHITISH Suncreen! I just hate the usual sunscreen that makes you look so ghostly & so greasy. This suncreen smells really good as well!
4. Laneige Water Sleep Pack EX
I don't think I need to rave about this, it is THAT GOOD. *mine's a sample tub, actual retail price you can check the website*
5. Etude House White Moistfull Essence (~$40)
I use this instead of a moisturiser. Essence is like a concentrated moisturiser, yet absorbs really well and quickly with not much sticky after-feel/effect. I use this with my Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector for a more moisturising effect.
6. The Body Shop Born Lippy Lipbalm in Raspberry (got it as gift from Sofiah)
Just love the smell :) But it's quite sad I have to dig into it :/
7. Maybelline Baby Lips in Antioxidant Berry (~$6)
Always using it. Not because it's really good. But just because a lip balm its a lip balm. Smells good, moisturising.
8. Biore Pore Pack
Say goodbye to your whiteheads and blackhead with this! But this always make me cry whenever I'm trying to remove it, it tugs my tear ducts. But oh well, it get its job done.
I actually made this for myself to follow strictly. It hasn't been long that I was committed to the products. I think consistency is the key to having good skin as well. Unless the product really don't work for you after a long time, you should change it. This board was supposedly a cheapo mirror /not even mirror material/ from Etude Pink Play Party Season 4 this year (that was held in Singapore). I didn't want this cute pink board to be thrown away, so I printed out my skincare routine steps.
I even went to the extent to read up if I should put suncreen first or moisturiser first. Cause I remember clearly that suncreen needs to be on your face 30 minutes before you leave the house. & online articles all said that anything that needs to be absorb you can put it on later (like 5-10mins after suncreen).
Some samples that I have yet to try, but very looking forward to try. My december is filled with Collagen. I have a few sponsored advertorials to be shared... so wait for it, I'm still trying the products out.
Next up! MAKE UP.
L-R:
1. Beauty UK Eye Shadow Collection in Earth Child (~$18)
I bought it cause of the bronze, maroon and black shades. Nothing WOW about the colors, suits me. I have always wanted to get a earth/nude palette
2. La Femme Blush in Peach (~$10)
Just like how pigmented it is. I need damn little of it to add colour to my cheeks.
3. Etude House Fresh Cherry Lip Tint in OR201 (~$12-15)
Just for that little bit of colour on my lips. I like makeup that look like no makeup *geddit?*
4. Garnier BB Miracle Perfector Gel (i think i got it at $16?)
This is the new and improved version. SO MUCH better than the first version. Smells better, color pay-off is better, and looks even more natural. Like I mentioned earlier, I use this with my essence for a lighter and more moisturising effect since I don't have much flaws to cover.
5. Garnier PureActive Tinted Spot Roll-On
I use this on my pimples when I need to head out! Conceal some of my blemishes/lighten scarring. Love it! So small and handy!
6. Etude House Blooming Lips Talk in OR205 (~$12-15)
Okay, by now you could have guessed that I like orangey lip colors. Cause pink lip colors DONT SUIT ME. Orange look more natural & human on me.
I don't even do anything to my eyes, cause I usually wear my specs, so there isn't a need to. But I do have the Etude House Cute Eyes maker, the one for the aegyosal :)
Since it's already December, I shall dedicate the following song - Miracles in December, which is my current favourite to one of my best friend Zi Hui. I hope the song don't make her cry, it's quite an emotional one, but I really feel the lyrics, cause this is the chinese version.
