Had a short but fruitful meet up with one of my poly classmate, Huini today! It has been about half a year since we last spoke to each other, because even on Graduation Day each and everyone of us were so busy taking photos and all over campus.

So we met up at Raffles Place. Somewhere to me unusual. Because when I meet my other friends, they would suggest town area like Somerset / Orchard / Bugis. This is the first time I met up with a friend in the Central Business District area. Thanks to One Raffles Place, which luckily was a shopping mall and had food and shopping for both of us.

Photo was taken before we left Raffles Place, after shopping!
Nice passerby helped us with this shot.

We walked several rounds around the area before settling down at Feel Rock for korean lunch. I ordered Jjamppong rice set(Seafood Soup) while Huini had Jjajjangmyeon and we had Tangsuyuk (Korean Sweet Sour Pork) for side dish. Thanks Huini for the Birthday lunch treat! I enjoyed it.

Chatted for awhile more at Feel Rock before we head for some shopping. Went to SEVEN, a fashion shop heavily influenced by korean style. Bought my first floral shorts. Would like to say the service there is really good. You know in smaller fashion shops, some shop assistants just stare at you or follow you around wary that you will steal their items? I often have to buy something else from some other shops before entering to show that "I can afford your stuff and not stoop to the level of stealing". Anyone feel me?

But at SEVEN, the staff let you do your own shopping, and only ask if you need help with finding certain sizes for the clothes you want. Not only that, when I wanted to try on the shorts, the staff happily took my shorts to the changing room and let me roam around longer to see if I wanted to try any other clothes on. This made my shopping trip happy, because I paid for 2 things, one which was priceless - SERVICE. I seriously don't mind paying a little more for good customer service.

H&M was next! Can't remember the last time I walked into H&M, maybe 1-1.5 years ago? When I still had all the time in the world to shop. But when school started getting busy in late year2 and in year3, I love cooping up at home and do online shopping instead. H&M had so many nice accessories now, and is madly affordable. Bought myself this D-I-Y customisable lettering necklace. I remember seeing a similar one at Accessorize but stuff at Accessorize are always so expensive (for me).

LOOTS OF THE DAY (LOTD)

Necklace from H&M - $12.90
Floral Shorts from SEVEN - $26

& Huini decides that it was mandatory that I take an OOTD shot because she thinks my dress is nice. Since this shot is taken, I shall take you through my outfit.

Dress from Online
Shoes from TheClosetLover
Bag from EllySage
Necklace from Unme
Watch from Casio

Took one last shot of my shoes while I was walking home. Had to purposely stand in this hot weather for like two minutes to get a proper shot. Been loving my galaxy shoes a lot ever since the day I received them in my mailbox. Going to bring this pair for my short staycation/birthday party/concert this weekend.

Thanks Huini for asking me out because I needed to get out for some fresh air too after days of painting at home. Though this was quite last minute (all because of me hahas), but I'm happy hahas. You always give out smiley positive vibes. Hope you get lots of fun experience in your upcoming new jobs and also all the best next year for University!!!
