In my previous post, I mentioned that blogging is getting so commercialised these days and I wanted to share an UNPLEASANT encounter with a blogger.
So I am quite annoyed by a particular blogger since like late jan/early feb because she simply refuses to reply my emails regarding my order from her previous preorder shop which "closed" due to conflicts between her and her partner.
She acted like she was very kind and nice to take responsibility of the shop after her partner left everything behind and for her to handle alone.
She told me in Mid-Jan that she will mail my order asap (fyi, I placed order in late December). & 2 weeks later i emailed her again to ask about my order since I didn't receive my order neither did she sent an email to inform is she has sent the item. & that's when she decided to stop replying my emails till today.
She then gave a short update on her blog about her previous preorder shop like why she couldn't mail the item was because she did not have the excel file to which customers have made payment. THIS to me is an absurd and unacceptable reason. She could have gotten/demanded the excel sheet from her ex-partner (since that partner decided to leave) or access to the shop's email to read every email or checked whose payment has been verified.
And if all fails, she could have gotten customers who paid the orders to forward her the emails sent by her partner using the shop's email of order placed and payment verified and then slowly compile the info.
I understand that it might be a hassle, but what has happened has happened. & when she decided to take up the responsibility, she should have delivered what she promised no matter how tedious it might be.
This shows that she simply didn't have the intention to settle this issue once and for all and decided that she could drag it on and on.
What's even more ridiculous was that I sent her emails every 2-3 weeks when she got back being active at blogging, but I still didn't get a reply. & guess what's she was doing? Busy hanging out with friends, smoking and even asking blogshops to email her for advertorials etc.
She can reply emails from blogshops and deliver their requests - advertorial posts on her blog. So why couldn't she reply my email and possibly other buyers' enquiry as well.
Well, it just shows that she is a person who values money > integrity. Desperate for money, how sad.
It's okay I'm just going to wait to see when does intend to mail my order and also to see if she even has the intention. I can always buy another thing from retail stores or other blogshops (those I shopped with/at are 200% more efficient than her) and since I have started working, I am not in need and desperate for money like her, so even if I get "scammed" by her its fine because it wasn't that a huge amount.
What goes around comes around. Her conscience won't be clear any way, but she could continue to be delusional and live in denial.
