Life's All About Balance.

January 26, 2014

And it's not just about moving on constantly and adapting to changes. It's also about having BALANCE of each and everything you do in life.

You want to be healthy?

Then adopt a balanced lifestyle by eating healthier, moving more (exercising) etc, but still can allow yourself to eat some CHEAT FOODs at time.

You want people to change their perspective of you?

Sure, this is hard, but if you really PROVE IT. They will, eventually when they know that you are actually not that bad and that you are a "balanced" person.

You want to get good grades?

Not a problem! Have a balanced time to study and play.

If we can't even practise having balance in our lives, how can we achieve more and do what we love?

I am aware there are some people who thinks I'm like Nerdy/Brainy. But hey, I KNOW HOW TO HAVE FUN too. I go to school with a goal to play as much as I can without having to sacrifice my grades. Grades are important too, so it's not worth to get bad grades and waste my parents' money.

& my definition of FUN is not "CLUBBING", "DRINKING". I know these 2 activities are sort of the TOP FEW FAVOURITES of people my age these days. I may sound like a boring person, but I like to spend my time doing more MEANINGFUL things instead of getting myself a hangover a next day. Maybe such as sports with friends, chatting time with friends, experimenting recipes together. Plus, I don't drink at all. Not that I won't drink forever, but I will eventually, probably drinking with my family first. My family DO NOT HAVE a habit of drinking though we have those potent HARD LIQUORS on display.

But I admit I do less meaningful stuff such as getting self-high over korean pop stars. But these pop stars do serve as people I can look up to and learn from since they have gone through much more tough times than I do.

P/s: Some things you don't have to promise. You just do. Trust is the residue of promises fulfilled
