Random photo of my outfit on wednesday.
Actually on tues/wed I had this really strong feeling/urge to do something that I've not done in a long time. Arts and also Crafts (which i will embark on later on)
I saw the photo frame that I bought from IKEA like 1-2 years ago. & I thought of drawing and painting my favourite korean actor - Moon Joo Won. First noticed him from Bridal Mask last year, then 2D1N and now Level 7 Civil Servant!
On Thursday night: Started tracing outlines of him using a tracing paper and gridlines. For your info, I needed gridlines cause I had to enlarge the A4 size printed image of him. I learnt this method from my art lesson back in Lower Secondary.
Then I did graphite transfer onto the white paper i bought from Popular (paper quality is similar to drawing block paper). What i did was to outline again on the tracing paper, but this time on the BACK of the tracing paper then trace out again on the front with white paper below the tracing paper.
Friday/Yesterday night: Started to paint black portions with the printed photo of him as reference.
Thin brush for the tiny parts.
Body done. Left his hair and eyes.
Hair done, eyes left.
All done! Erased some excess pencil markings!
Saturday/Today: Framed it up! Can't wait to hang it on the wall infront of my bed. At least, it will make me more willing to wake up and open my eyes when new academic year starts. (hopefully)
