Week 3.

November 4, 2012

It's been three weeks since school started. MEHHH. So much CAs, Projects, Tutorials to do. I'm irritated already. Time is too little now. I should stop spending time on my laptop, stop spending on blogshops. Let's do this. I must get back the nerdy me. I kind of enjoy it.

Nutrition & Disease Lab/Practical Session - Glucose Level Testing and Cholesterol Level Testing.

What You Need to test your blood glucose level:

Alcohol Swipes
Blood Glucose Reader
Test Strips
Lancets
Paper Towel

Was in charged of pricking my 2 groupmates - Caroline and Swen Yee. They were the subjects for this experiment. Almost the whole 2 hours plus was just me pricking them with the lancets.

Until.....

They asked who wanted to test for blood cholesterol. So i just volunteered. Sorry for the bloody images. The test strip is about 10 bucks each. So every lab, whatever I can do I will just try to go test like its free health screening/procedures.

Was more focused on "I MUST TAKE PHOTOS" instead of the end results. End up I was in the HEALTHY RANGE! I seriously dislike the sight of VERY OILY stuffs like RAMLY BURGER. Such a turn off.

ADIDAS Track Pants! DAY 1 of POL-ITE ended.

So-so, I was placed last for every heats I took part. I didn't care. Disappointed with my 200m, but was okay with my 100m and 400m as I realised they weren't that bad considering I did not train as often compared to last year.

Track & Field is the only thing I don't mind being in last place.
