Hong Kong Part 1 - Hauls

October 13, 2012

Guess most people are more interested in hauls, loots everything that's got to do with shopping right? And maybe no one will read my upcoming posts for Hong Kong. I'm splitting up my Hong Kong Trip into Hauls, Exploration, Food & not like what many people do: Day 1,2,3,4... Exploration might have 2 parts as OCEAN PARK has too many photos.

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to buy a lot in Hong Kong. #disappointment

I don't get Hong Kong's fashion. I failed to get my VANS-look-a-like cause the shoe shop uncle had retarded dumb attitude. With your shitass attitude, your shop won't last. & that other shoe shops sold PLATFORMS/FLATFORMS etc, I'm so pissed. Its like almost every single shop I went into had the same stuffs.

I've also indicated the location of where I bought my clothes & accessories on the Photo itself.

Blazer and Cardigan were from the same shop ( 2nd level of New Town Mall i think ), cost about HK$150 ~ S$30.00 or lesser

Cardigan was HK$60 I think

Finally I own a Cardigan. Cardigan is like a basic for your closet. Everyone should have at least 1.

Favourite Buy in HongKong - SHARKIE. HK$139 (i think) ~ S$28.00 or lesser

I wanted something like Elstinko Caps, like monsters on your head. This SHARK CAP was from Ocean Park. Like that you can open its Jaws.

Basic Slacks from New Town Mall HK$50 for 2pairs ~ S$5.00 each pair

Surprise Buy. Was walking through the alleys of Li Yuen Street and this pair of sandals caught my attention because...

It looks exactly the same as the one on ZALORA, Mimosa (the one i wanted, but they didn't have stock for my size) just that the straps are beige instead of brown. HK$75 ~ S$15.00 (cheaper than Zalora's)
Even the SOLES are of the same design!

It looks different here cause of Instagram's filter. If you look carefully even that brown/beige patch for your heels is the same design but of different brands.

Loved this shoe shop auntie. She's damn friendly and her english was one of the better ones I've heard in HONGKONG. Even the HOTEL receptionist also lose.

I think New Town Mall is a nice place for Girls to shop at, it's similar to Singapore's BUGIS STREET. But wait, this entire mall is fully air-conditioned & They definitely have more shops than BUGIS. All kind of fashion necessities there!

Fyi, I was staying at MongKok Area, all these shopping places are not there. Some a few streets away some I took MTR (their MRT). You can GOOGLE MAP for the locations!

P/S: Will be sharing some of my online hauls too, soon! Keep reading on. Try to update as much as I can. But Ocean Park photos really killing me.
