Likes & Dislikes.

Everyone's personality, characteristics, hobbies etc are all different and unique in their own way. I don't really judge people when i first meet them, slowly as a Virgo, i really do analyse people's speech and actions, then conclude about the person. But usually most people i meet are relatively fine and kind.

Typing this post out for those who don't know me well enough, some of things i like or dislike in life, but seriously there isn't a need to judge me after reading this post (if you intended to). Staring of with stuffs i dislike first.

Dislikes


1. SMOKING


Yes, i dislike, detest, hate smoking. I've NEVER TRIED before, cause a healthy person wannabe is too cool for that SHIT. & if you think i'm totally against smokers, you're only half-right, i do have smoker friends around me, but they are nice enough to go somewhere else to have their 'conference call session' when they need it. I appreciate their actions. Cause seriously i don't like breathing in the smoke, and get my hair smell like smoke. But i do encourage them to smoke lesser. By Smoking Lesser, main 2 benefits are you obviously get healthier (and just stop increasing the severity when you get respiratory-related cancer) & SAVE MONEY. One pack of cigarettes is like at least 8 bucks i guess, some are like $10+. I'd rather use that money to eat something nice! Smoking doesn't fill your stomach, and it drains your pocket/wallet.


2. DRINKING

I know this year i would be legal to drink. But i don't wish to yet. I've tasted alcoholic drinks, to me the taste doesn't appeal to me, it tasted so bad (i'd red wine). But maybe a few years more i might drink a little, but not now. I've seen like people my age getting all drunk, high, and they call it 'having life'. I don't think that's a right way. & even if you can hold your liquor well, you certainly don't gain any of my respect. Binge drinking is a no-no, but drinking once in awhile is fine, a little alcohol for the body does have some benefits. For those who drink, just remember drink in moderation, and if you know you're drunk, STOP! You might just end up making a fool out of yourself. So, for now i shall stick to my milo, fruit juices & canned drinks.

3. Karaoke

Not a fan of K-box or any other places of karaoke, just not my kind of place. But i do go with my friends like once in a blue moon, when there's like celebration / special occasions. + i can't sing well, so ya i should know my limits and remain a bathroom singer :)

1. EATING



Eating is the right way of 'HAVING LIFE'. Like eating all sorts of food. I'm a nutrition student, and you might think i'm a health freak, if so, i'm sorry to disappoint you. I eat all the junk food like anyone of you out there. My campus has almost all the fastfood outlets: Mac, BK, KFC, SUBWAY (the healthier one). So yes i do eat them. But i've cut down on them quite alot, since my good friend is a vegetarian, i eat vegetarian food with her almost every other day! *cause SP vegetarian store (the one at FC1, going to be at FC2) is very cheap, sometimes one meal is less than $2.00* I can't resist good food, i mean either healthy or really delicious food, don't eat those that taste like crap, want to eat, eat the nicest of all!

2. SHOPPING



After i entered poly, i've spent LOTS OF MONEY. ITS ALOT! My most expensive top i have is my Man Utd Jersey, it was about $90+ dollars (with my name and number printed). Then i invested in my running gears, amounts to about nearly $300 already. Not to mention all the other clothes i have in my closet. But i'm trying to control how much i spend, i still get allowance from my parents, and get bonuses if i do well in school. & i'm not exactly one who just spends without thinking, sometimes i buy on impulse then regret *FML* So now i think alot whether the item is a NEED or a WANT.


3. CRAFTING

I enjoy art & crafts simply because i can shut the outer world and be in my own world for awhile, just focus on doing something. & if know me, read my blog etc, you would know i like felt-craft the most. You can browse those posts HERE. It's a way of how i kill boredom and entertain myself.


4. SPORTS

I like sports! Sweat it out! Get the stress and toxins out of your body! For those who dislike the sun, you can try indoor sports like YOGA. Yoga may seem easy, but its not ! Try it and you'll know it. But i'm alright with the sun, and i wish to have slighter darker tone of healthy tan, so i don't look like those white, soft kind of girls who only likes to stay home & do nothing. I'd rather have a body lean not thin, with well trained muscles and not fats. If you think being thin is enough, so be it. Its not, you think you're healthy, i tell you, you're not. some plump people can be healthier than you skinny people. Go get your fat % checked one day, you might get a shock seeing a sky-high % of fats in your body and start blaming the machine is faulty.

Thus, friends around me are usually similar to me, those close ones are really alike to me, except the point 'shopping'. I like it cause i think i sometimes get to explore new places and see new, cool stuffs that i've never seen before. Thats all. Have a great weekend!
