Shopping with an injured knee.

So i fell during track and field on tuesday, all i can say is that i blame myself for not having the right techniques. FULL STOP. i'm already irritated that i got injured at this time when i only have 1 week + more to my competition. Fear of the starting blocks, i just don't like it. its just like how a body would reject a foreign particle. Okay enough of ranting, i shall do a proper post.

Met my ex-colleague: LIM ZI HUI yesterday at orchard to do some shopping, cause we both are not the kind who go shopping frequently and nothing catches our eyes that easily. Visited our old workplace: Uniqlo ION. Most people recognise her, not me, can't blame them, cause i've only worked for 6 weeks at Uniqlo & i've not visited Uniqlo Ion for the past 8months, but i still remember most of the people. Lots of new faces. So we decided to go to Far East Plaza, but the weather hates us, it was RAINING. and we both had no umbrella, so i suggested why not go back to ION's Daiso and get a 2Dollar Umbrella :)

Sorry for the Very BAD photo taken. We bought the transparent w Blue Polka Dots umbrella, i brought it home cause i didn't want her to throw it away.

U-turned back to ION then we head towards Far East Plaza, walked around, nothing much caught our attention, in and out of a few shops, laughing & chitchatting. ZiHui bought a new pair of shoes from Mondo :) glad she found a pair of shoes that is SO HER. and we bought the Same Bag of Different Colors. Hers is Blue, Mine Peachy Red. It fits A4! so YAY! Cute & Chic design.

Detachable internal compartment (Y)

means ... ... the bag comes with a detachable, adjustable strap! :) Love slinging bags over my shoulders! this photo above shows the TRUE COLOR of the bag. other photos are spoilt by bad lighting, my bad.

What made both of us even happier is the PAPER BAG that the bag was put in! Pretty to the max!

If you're wondering how much the bag cost, its SGD$31.90 (inclusive of GST, TAX and whatever), but i think the paper bag cost SGD$1.90 and the bag itself SGD$30.00. Trololol. Its from a shop @ Far East: The Change at Basement. So lucky our bags were the last ones, excluding the ones on display.

Then went to Tangs to buy our used-to-be lunch when we were still working at uniqlo: NASI LEMAK! + this shopping date was meant for our EACH A CUP DATE! i tried Lover Fruit Sunrise (to celebrate both of us finding our other half), and she tried the one i previously had: Peach Sunrise. Sunrise is basically a yoghurt drink. Kudos to zihui, i tried yoghurt drink for the first time, i've always hated and afraid of yoghurt, but now i LOVE THEM (Y)

Headed to Prints & Prologue. Then to Daiso, bought a new Pink File. then back to uniqlo again, cause staffs were saying one girl look like zihui. then off we went to Bugis Iluma :) totally nua @ Subway with our 2.10 regular cup drink. Fanta Orange + Sprite (Y). And we bid goodbye at the MRT cause she was meeting her F1 Colleagues for dinner.

Had an awesome day out with her, after 8mths we met again!

P/s: i'm emotionally and mentally and physically affected by my injury, though its a small one, its hindering my progress to improve.
